Promiscuous

Promiscuous is the second installment to the series Tease. When Tease ended I couldn't wait to see what would happen to Beth and hoped she would get together with Coop. In this book you learn how broken and lonely Beth is. She turns to the bottle and meets Roman. He was hired to watch Beth, but the 10 million dollar question is who hired him?? Roman is as drawn to Beth as she is to him and man are they hot together!! Of course there is Beth's swarmy manager Ivan.. God did I hate that character.
My issue with Beth was she was never consistant with anything! She wanted to see them (Roman or Coop) then she didn't.... There was no cliffhanger, but definitely some things left open that I want answers to. Roman is a very intreguing character, I know his past needs to be somthing else! Very enjoyable.

Beautiful Addictions

This is one of those books that grabs your heart and keeps it. A lot of books are predictable but the author really threw in some good twists that had my jaw dropping! This is not your fairy tail book.....this book is real. It deals with real issues.. it is compelling, dark, shocking, with truly flawed characters. A heroine that is barley holding it together with a past she doesn't remember and the boy that never stopped loving her....
Season Vining's debut novel is worth your time if you are in the mood for love, mystery, second chances for two broken people. Well done.

Angel After Dark

Angel After Dark is one of my favorite new romances!
Alex and Angel.... ohhh what can I say! A chance meeting in a home improvement store starts the story of the uber alpha billionaire and the smart, no nonsense doctor.
Alex is happy with just sex, he is all about the release with no commitment, where Angel has a friend with benifits when she needs her itch scratched until these two meet each other. They never get to follow through on that home depot meeting......and they stay in each others head for a while. Then surprising circumstances bring them together. This book is a lot about the chase.... and it is worth every single funny, smart, witty, edgy second. These two have a chemistry I don't encounter often in books. WOW.
There is a great back story for both Angel and Alex. The development of the relationship is done with such care and devotion. You will root for these two. The supporting cast is also important.
Alex is everything I love in an alpha male. Angel is a wonderful lead. Strong, funny, smart.... no whining! LOVE IT! She is a professional female. A very impressive one. And when they finally get together......... It's on!
If you are looking for a hot romance, look no further. Angel and Alex will get your gears grinding. Book 2 can't get here soon enough!!! Seriously...the good stuff is going to start going down... ;) Get this on your kindle! You won't be sorry!!

My Masters' Nightmare by Marita Hansen

Marita A. Hansen has created a world that has to be read to be appreciated. This series has really rocked me to the core and episode 6 can't get here soon enough. On the blog you will see the character bios, read them.. know them.
This is a world of the mob (2 warring families), a corrupt priest, the FBI, a sex slave ring, the black Russians and there isn't much else I can say. You have to love this stuff and then read this for yourself. Marita, thank you for these characters and your imagination. One of the best series I've ever read.

(Note to the reader....this is a dark erotica book with M/M & M/F relations, rape and other BDSM elements. PLEASE do not read and then take it out on the author in review if this is not your type of read)

Santa Wore Leathers by Vonnie Davis

I had the privilege of reading "Santa Wore Leathers" by Vonnie Davis for my 12 Days of Sizzling Review.

The fun part of this book is it is where I live...... a fact I didn't know when I picked it.  Becca Sinclair is a reporter for a Clearwater Fl paper, she really wants to get a colum but for now  she lives  with her German Shepard Einstein (who is hysterical and has  a big part in the book) and  blogs about her life and the "man whore" who moved in next door.  Since her divorce, Becca doesn't have much use for men.

Dan ‘Wolf’ Wolford, ex Navy Seal, current commander of the  Florida Marine Rescue Unit.  From Becca's eyes, he is the ultimate man whore....... all sorts of woman coming and going from his place.  When Wolf turns his attention on Becca, she uses all her humor and snark to keep him away, but Einstein seems to take a liking to Wolf.... personally delivering Becca's thongs to him and forcing them into more encounters than Becca would like........ until she starts to see the man beneath the perception she has.

Becca wants NOTHING to do with Wolf or the Christmas season...... she is still smarting from her divorce, while Wolf does nothing small...... his Christmas is over the top in every way, and when Becca learns about the stream of woman that are around Wolf, she understands why.

This is truly a book about family, friendship and love..... with a seriously hot ex-seal.  Becca and Wolf both overcome a lot to be with each other.  For a short novella, there is quite a lovely, sweet, funny, sexy story.  Perfect holiday read.

VendettaVendetta by Sienna Lane
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

 photo DIV36_zps3402b8f4.png

Romeo and Juliet of the mob world, that is what Devon Andre and Leighton Moore are. There families have been at war for years. Both know they can't be together because of it. In reality they don't care. The heart wants what it wants.
photo REDHEART_zps18d83560.png no matter what the cost. photo SPLASH-BLOOD8_zpsce4f8f37.png

When Leighton and Devon are put in extraordinary circumstances everything comes full circle for these two. They have no choice but to admit their love for one another.... now what or will they do about it?

 photo chain_zps4f4e8ffa.png

This book has everything you would expect in a mob love story..... family, loyalty, intrigue, murder, revenge.... These two know they were born tainted by the world they live in. Question is, how far will they go to be together? Will the family history stand in their way?

There are some great shockers in this book. I can't give too much away because it will ruin the plot for you, but trust me, it is a great modern day take on forbidden love, that I happened to enjoy very much.

Beautiful Failure

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is all about the emotion..... Our Heroine Emerald is a no nonsense girl. Raised by a hooker mother who only paid any attention to her when they were drinking or drugging, what other option did she have? She doesn't get close to anyone.... no friends, no ties to anyone, just uses people for what she needs and moves on.

Until a tragic event sends her to live with her grandparents...Emerald is forced to face her demons. A girl that has no idea how to function in real life... can't hold a job, can't function without a drink, what the hell can she do? Fired from her umpteenth job she hooks up with a "friend" that turns her on to stripping.

Emerald has always been a writer, since she first picked up a pencil. That is all she is good at and all she wants to do and all she knows she can do.

Writing has kept her grounded through it all....

Enter Carter. God, I wanted more of Carter. He is really a mystery to me through most of the book. He wants Emerald and nothing is going to stop him from getting her. Hot, sweet, sexy, caring... "swoon worthy" Carter.

Truly, this book is about growth. This book is about coming to terms with who you are, letting people in and going after what you want in life.

This book is about Emeralds journey from drunk and alone to a full life.

There are points in this book I just wanted to smack Emerald, but her bitch attitude is so intricate to who she is and who she can become.

Her journey was a great read for me. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it as much as I did.

Sex. Love. Repeat.Sex. Love. Repeat. by Alessandra Torre
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"All great things are preceded by chaos."

I love a lot of books. This book surpasses my norm. It is a phenomenal read. It is so much more than what you think reading the synopsis.

Madison is in love with two men.... Stewart. The guy that doesn't have time for anything but his fast paced high power job and Paul, the sweet surfer that cares about nothing but Mad's happiness. They know about one another, and are OK with the situation. But it so isn't what it seems. It isn't your standard girl screws around with two boys. It is built on such a wonderful story that touches all three in such a surprising way.

There is no way to tell you the full impact of this book without giving it away. Not many books make my jaw drop and shock me... this one did. In such a good way.

Alessandra has a plot that is so original, that has so much impact it is a treasure in itself. I've never read another book like it.

The sex is super hot but there is so much emotion between these 3. It's loving, compassionate, touching, hot, romantic....it grabs all the senses, all the right spots.

Paul is sweet, loving, dominant... Stewart wants only what is best for Maddy when he isn't around to satisfy her in the bedroom, and he thinks the other man in her life is it. He is happy fitting in where he can. Or is he? Is Paul what's best for Mad, or is Stewart?

You just have to trust me on this. READ IT. You will not regret it. When I say this book isn't what you think, I truly mean it. Alessandra has done a stellar job with these characters.

One of the best books I've read all year. LOVE IT. I put 10 stars because if I could that is what I would give it.
